Larry Wolford

Dr. Larry M. Wolford is a Clinical Professor in the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, and in full time private practice at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, TX. Dr. Wolford completed his dental school education at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA, and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He has been involved in resident training and education for over 50 years. He sponsored and directed a Fellowship program for TMJ and Orthognathic surgery for 28 years. He has co-authored two text books, co-edited 4 other text books, written over 55 book chapters for other books, and has more than 240 published papers. He has received the William J. Gies Award and the W. Harry Archer Award (two of the highest awards in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) for major contributions to the specialty. He is internationally known for his expertise in orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, and sleep apnea surgery. He has developed many of the surgical techniques, philosophies, and evidence-based treatment protocols that are used in these surgical areas.

Louis Mercuri

Dr. Mercuri is a Cum Laude graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry, Washington, DC. He received his Certification and Master of Science degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center.

Dr. Mercuri is a Life Member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Retired Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the recipient of the 2009 Oral and Maxillofacial Foundation Research Recognition Award, and the 2010 William J. Gies Foundation Distinguished Achievement Award in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2011, he was awarded an Honorary Fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons of England in the Faculty of Dental Surgery. In 2020, the American Society of TMJ Surgeons created the Louis G. Mercuri Lifetime Achievement Award for which he was the inaugural recipient.

Dr. Mercuri is presently Visiting Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center Chicago, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago, President of the UIC Institute of Biomaterials, Tribocorrosion, Nano and Regenerative Medicine, and a Clinical Consultant for Stryker/TMJ Concepts, Ventura, CA.

Daniel Serra Cassano

Graduado em Odontologia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) (2001).

Especialista em Cirurgia Oral e Maxilofacial pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) (2007).

Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery no Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas-TX, EUA (2007-2008).

Membro convidado da Sociedade Americana de Cirurgiões de ATM (2012).

Professor dos cursos de aperfeiçoamento em Cirurgia Ortognática desde 2002 e de ATM desde 2008.

Professor de Cirurgia no curso de especialização em Ortodontia da GESTOS, FAEPO e APCD em Araraquara.

Atua nas áreas de Cirurgia Ortognática, Cirurgia de ATM, Implantes Dentários e Enxertos.

Ricardo Tesch

Graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro/RJ (1992); Especialização em Ortodontia pela Associação dos Cirurgiões Dentistas de Campinas/SP (1999); Mestrado em Medicina com área de concentração em Cirurgia de Cabeça e Pescoço pelo Hospital Heliópolis/SP (2003) e Doutorado em Clinica Médica (Neurologia) pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro/RJ (2018). Atualmente é Pró-reitor de Pesquisa e Inovação e Professor Titular da Faculdade de Medicina de Petrópolis/Centro Universitário Arthur Sá Earp, onde é o Diretor do Laboratório de Medicina Regenerativa e Coordenador do Núcleo de Pesquisa em Dor Crônica e do Curso de Especialização em DTM e Dor Orofacial. Pesquisador com interesse especial nas áreas de DTM e Dor Orofacial, Genética e Medicina Regenerativa, esta última com ênfase no emprego de Terapias Celulares para Regeneração de Cartilagem e Osso. Atualmente é o Investigator Principal no primeiro ensaio clínico em humanos para a regeneração da ATM empregando o transplante autólogo de condroprogenitores derivados do septo nasal (UTN – U1111/1194-6997).
